Prepare a request

Prepare a technical request

Describe what kind of technical support you need. Tevcor helps you prepare repair, maintenance and service requests in a structured way.

What is a request on Tevcor?

A request describes a technical need, such as a machine fault, a repair, a machine relocation or planned maintenance. This helps technicians judge whether they can support you.

Which requests fit?

Suitable requests include industrial technical topics such as spindle repair, CNC faults, control issues, electronics repair, maintenance, retrofit, mechanical damage or machine relocation.

What can you prepare?

Helpful details include machine type, manufacturer, model, fault description, location, desired time frame and special notes. If you are unsure, you can select a template and adjust it later.

Which details should you prepare?

Not every detail is mandatory. The clearer the description, the easier it is for suitable technicians to assess the request.

  1. Name the machine or system, such as CNC machine, spindle, control system, conveyor technology or assembly.
  2. Describe the fault or requested service: fault analysis, repair, maintenance, retrofit, inspection or machine relocation.
  3. Add manufacturer, model, year of manufacture, control system or serial number if known.
  4. Provide location, desired time frame and urgency.
  5. Add photos of the nameplate, damage, display or error messages later in the request form.
  6. Mention special on-site conditions, such as access, crane, forklift, downtime or safety requirements.

Example of a useful request

CNC milling machine with Siemens control shows an axis error since Monday. The machine is located in 73230 Kirchheim. Production is limited and short-term on-site fault analysis is requested.

Example of a request that is too vague

Machine broken, please contact me. This is hard to assess because machine, fault, location and requested support are missing.

Prepare a request or use a template?

Use this page for orientation. If you do not yet know how to formulate your request, choose a request template and adjust the suggestion later.

Frequently asked questions about preparing a request

  1. Do I have to publish a request immediately?
No. On this page you only collect information. A request becomes publicly visible only when you deliberately publish it in the protected request form.
  2. Which fields are required?
Required fields are checked only in the request form. For preparation, incomplete details are fine as long as the technical issue is understandable.
  3. What if manufacturer or model are unknown?
Describe the machine, assembly, error message or visible symptoms as clearly as possible. Photos can help later.
  4. Can I add images later?
Yes. Images, documents or photos of the nameplate can be added later in the request form.
